Arizona and Oregon are both members of the Drivers License Compact. This Compact requires member state to report back to the state in which a driver is licensed any conviction of traffic tickets. So the AZ Department of Transportation should be notified by the OR courts or DMV about this speeding ticket you received.
Chapter 6, Article 3 of Title 28 within the Transportation section of Arizona statutes, gives details on the DLC and Arizona's participation. It does not state here whether the out of state offense will be put on your driving record or be assigned points so we contacted the AZ DOT Motor Vehicle Division. The representative we spoke to said that they indeed would be informed of this out of state ticket and it would then go on your Arizona driving record. The AZ DMV representative also stated that points would be assessed.
Since the Oregon speeding ticket will be placed on your Arizona driving record if you are convicted of the speeding charge then your insurance company can see it the next time they pull your MVR. It will depend upon your insurance carrier's rating system if your rates will be affected. Your agent should be able to tell you about your provider's rating system.
