QuestionInsurance Question  Do all insurance companies cover windshields in MA?

AnswerAuto Insurance Answer

Massachusetts insurance companies that offer comprehensive will cover windshields as part of this physical damage coverage.

If you have comprehensive insurance you are covered for the full amount of the damage (loss) to your windshield with no deductible unless you opted for a $100 deductible for glass breakage. The normal $300, $500, or $1000 deductible, or whatever you may have selected for comprehensive coverage, does not apply to a glass loss in MA.

If you only have liability coverages on your vehicle then your windshield would not be covered, only if you have comprehensive coverage with your insurance provider.
