There are a few scenarios that we follow up on to make sure you are covered.
- If you move within the same state:
- Safeco Gold Service will contact you and notify you of any policy premium increase or decrease or policy changes.
- If you move out of state:
- If you move to a state where Safeco Insurance is available, Safeco Gold Service will contact you and notify you of any policy changes necessary in the new state and they will notify you of any premium increases or decreases in the new state.
- If you move to a state where Safeco Insurance is unable then we are notified and we will try to place you with a new carrier.
Typically, the U.S. Post Office tells Safeco that the policy holder has filled in a permanent change of address card and indicated "Individual" as the type of move. Based upon the scenarios above, we will take the appropriate action.
