A Prince George's County jury awarded $8 million in damages to a woman who brought suit against Allstate Insurance Co. for failing to honor her claim regarding her 23-year-old son's death in a car crash. However, Allstate will only be required to pay $80,000 in underinsured motorist benefits, according to plaintiffs' attorney Laura G. Zois of Miller & Zois in Glen Burnie.When the six-person civil jury determined damages, they were not told of the policy's limits, Zois said.....
