Compulsory car insurance doesn't work well in Britain. Those with no respect for the law simply don't insure their cars and law- abiding youngsters find that their insurance costs far more than the purchase price of their first car. Insurance works by spreading the cost of accidents across all the policy holders so you can be sure that forcing youngsters to insure will increase all our premiums.....
