Aug. 14--In 1994, the state passed a law requiring people renewing their vehicle license plates to present a current auto insurance card to their county clerk's office. County Clerk David "Oz" Osborne said people often come to renew their license plates without bringing a current insurance card. Such occurrences happen more than just once or twice daily, he said.....
