CARDIFF-based advertising agency Golley Slater has won the contract to build the customer acquisition strategy for Lloyds TSB's insurance comparison site.
Golley Slater secured the contract to develop and implement the communications and media strategy for www.insurance.co.uk following a competitive tender.
Sion Ashley Jones, managing director of Golley Slater advertising in Cardiff, said: "The core of the approach will be to deliver on all of the primary objectives of the site including raising brand awareness in a cluttered and competitive marketplace."
Golley Slater's remit will also include the targeting of customers more likely to switch.
Mr Ashley-Jones said: "While customer retention is hugely important we also need to build the customer acquisition strategy of 'switchers' and drive high converting traffic to the insurance.co.uk site.
"Our approach will be to weight our campaign around the car insurance peaks.
