Jan. 14--Most drivers wouldn't dream of cruising around with a Bud in their hands, but millions think nothing of hoisting a cell phone to their ear, which can be just as dangerous as driving drunk. Now, a federally chartered group, the National Safety Council, has called for a total ban on phoning while driving. The real risk stems from the distraction of a phone conversation, since drivers' reaction times are impaired as if they were imbibing.....
