I was broadsided by another car. Estimated repair would be $5400. Blue Book on car is $5000. Car loan balance is $8000. Will insurance just give me blue book or will it pay off the loan?

Will GAP insurance cover the amount of insurance premium force placed on the loan? Bank forced placed 5k on loan throughout the life but I now have my own insurance.

My vehicle was legally parked in front of my home and was hit by a neighbors family member while they pulled out of their garage. A police report was filed and it showed the fault of the family member and they also admitted fault to the police. My question is, how long in the State of PA does an insurance company have to settle a claim? We seem to be getting the run around from this person's insurance company.

My daughter was involved in an accident in June 08, the other driver was at fault. The insurance company stated that we had to continue coverage on her totaled car throughout the claim process. Is this true?

I was recently in an accident in CA where the other driver was 100% at fault. My car was totalled. It was an older car but was pristine and ran very well. I am concerned what they will give me will not be enough to buy a comparable. What am I entitled to as settlement from the other insurer? Retail value, private party sale value, trade in value or something else?

My car has been recently wrecked and has been deemed totaled by my insurance carrier. What exactly does it mean when they say they will reimburse me for tax, title and transfer fees when I purchase a new vehicle? Will this be on the new vehicle or the total loss amount on the wrecked one? Thank you.

If I own more then one vehicle which all are insured for comprehensive subject to a deductible, and a severe hail storm damages them when they are parked in my drive way, does a deductible apply on both cars (pay 2 deductibles) or since this is one occurrence, does one deductible apply to both damaged cars?

If one vehicle is insured by two separate policies, by two separate drivers, and one driver gets into an accident, will there be a problem with coverage of the vehicle? I am insured by PGAC and my mom by Mercury. Mercury told my mother that if I were to be in an accident there would be a problem with me being covered. How can that be if I have my own policy?
