If I am at fault in an accident with a very expensive super car (for example, a Ferrari Enzo, $1 million), am I really liable for all repair costs? For example, I have $100k in property damage liability insurance, and the repairs cost $300k. Am I really personally liable for $200k because some rich guy drives around in a priceless (in my opinion) car?

If you were involved in an accident and you are not at fault and didn't have insurance at the time of the accident can you sue the other party personally for pain and suffering, time lost from employment (lost wages) and doctor bills? Does the no play no pay law come into effect in Louisiana or can I receive compensation for these things?

I live in Washington state, and last week my wife was crossing at a crosswalk and she was hit by a vehicle and broke her arm and cracked a few ribs. The owner of the vehicle has no insurance and he was cited for it and failure to yield the right of way to pedestrian in crosswalk and a few others as well. Can we use our PIP coverage as well as our medical coverage?

On 23 September 09 a friend was visiting me at my home and parked her car in my drive way. While I was backing out of my garage I backed into her car. Contact was made at both bumpers but there was damage to both cars in excess of $250 on each vehicle. My insurance company (USAA) paid claims on both cars. Do I have to file form SR-13 since the accident happened on my property not on a public street or highway?
