IT'S not often I agree with Karren Brady but on this occasion she has my total agreement. The answer to this problem is quite simple and solved by the introduction of a disc, similar to a tax disc, which would be issued by the appropriate car insurance companies stating the insurance reference number and premium for the next 12 months on the vehicle has been paid. Failure to display the disc would mean the police would have the power to quiz the driver or owner and confiscate the vehicle if the appropriate insurance documentation could not be provided.....
