I support Minister of Transport Safety Harry Duynhoven's plan to introduce compulsory car insurance. The insurance industry is dragging its heels due to anticipated problems providing cover for young drivers, especially those with high- performance cars. Drivers under the age of 21 should be refused insurance for their current high-powered vehicles and be made to switch to something smaller, slower, cleaner and more economical.....
