Business process outsourcing services provider WNS has paid $230m to acquire Aviva Global Services, the UK-based insurance company's BPO division in India and Sri Lanka.WNS also won an eight-year $1bn BPO deal from Aviva. As a result of the acquisition, 6,500 employees of Aviva Global Services working in Bangalore, Pune, Noida, Chennai, and Colombo will become part of WNS. In addition, 24/7 Customer has transferred 750 employees from its Aviva 24/7 center in Chennai to Aviva Global Services.....
