The state Supreme Court says a woman who bounced a check for her car insurance still deserved coverage after a crash. The court, by a 4-1 vote, upheld a Cabell Circuit Court ruling that faults West Virginia National Auto Insurance Company for not giving Stephanie Michelle Conley at least 10 days' notice before canceling her coverage.Conley sent West Virginia National a worthless check just days before she was involved in an Aug. 31, 2001, accident....

Dec. 7--LOWELL, Mass. -- If Attorney General Tom Reilly has his way, Massachusetts drivers will save $200 next year on their auto-insurance premiums. But Reilly first will have to convince state Insurance Commissioner Julianne Bowler that the state's 19 auto-insurance providers can afford to trim $750 million in annual charges next year. Reilly made a stop at City Hall yesterday afternoon on a three-day, five-city tour of the state, pushing his proposal to cut insurance rates by 18 percent in 2006....
