Car Insurance Question  How long does it take for an insurance company to pay a claim after you report your car is stolen?

Claims should be paid timely. Some states have time requirements mandated by law or arbitration clauses.

We expect your claim to processed immediately and then handled as soon as possible by our insurance companies.

Many factors determine how long it will take for your claim to be paid. Your claim should be managed and organized from the beginning. so that you have a rental car (if applicable).

Most companies have a 48 hour waiting period in the event of a theft. Afterwards, your claims adjuster will begin processing your claim. At any moment you should be able to contact your claims representative and ask how long they estimate it will take to process and pay your claim.
