Is SR22 always required after a DUI conviction in Florida?

In Florida, it is the usually the case for a person to have to carry SR22 after a DUI conviction. According to the Florida Driver's Handbook a citation for a DUI typically results in a revocation of your driver's license. If you are involved in a violation where the result is your license being revoked and you do not have insurance to comply with the financial responsibility law you have to get certified proof of full liability insurance by the means of a Form SR-22.
