Is there any way to receive notice when new car insurance headlines are added to your site?

We recommend that you use our RSS feed which you can get to from clicking on the RSS icon on our headlines page or you can get their directly here:

http://www.carinsurance.com/news/rssnews.aspx

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication and is sometimes also referred to as a web feed. An RSS feed notifies you when a website page is updated. Normally to receive an RSS feed, you need what is referred to as a content aggregator, news aggregator or simply a newsreader. They are all different names for the same software. You can install one for free by searching the Internet. Once you have a reader, go to the web feed you want to subscribe to.

While some sites may require you to right click the RSS icon and copy a URL address, such as the one we listed above, and add that address into your reader we have a subscribe button on our RSS News Feed page. As our RSS page notes when you subscribe to our feed, it is added to the Common Feed List. Updated information from the feed is automatically downloaded to your computer and can be viewed in Internet Explorer and other programs, such as the news readers we mentioned earlier.

So once you subscribe to the RSS feed our latest headlines will come automatically into your RSS reader. Our headlines are updated periodically throughout the day.

In addition, we recommend Google News Reader along with the Google Toolbar. You can add the CarInsurance.com Button to get our latest auto insurance questions and answer feed to learn more about auto insurance.
