My personal experience getting a quote from The General

Getting a quote on The General’s website was quick and easy. It took less than 10 minutes. I input basic information like my name, address, vehicle make/model/year, home ownership status, driving record, marital status and whether I’ve had continuous insurance coverage for the past few years, as well as whether there were any other vehicles or drivers I wanted to insure.

The first quote it gave me was for Nevada’s state minimum coverage limits of $25,000 bodily injury coverage per person, $50,000 bodily injury coverage per accident, and $20,000 property damage coverage per accident.

I have an excellent credit score and no driving violations, and was quoted a rate of $435 for six months. For a full coverage policy with limits of 100/300/100, the rate jumped to $1,071 for six months.
